Securities Commission Malaysia Flags Clone of Interactive Brokers
The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has updated the Investor Alert List that contains the list of unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals. Please take note that this list is not exhaustive and only serves as a guide to investors prior to making any investment decisions.
The following person(s)/entity(ies) was/were added to the list as at 8 December 2022:
TSI Investment Malaysia / TSI Investment Amanah
Potential clone entity – Pelaburan Phillip
Potential clone entity – Interactive Brokers 9997717
The list is updated periodically for public's reference. Members of the public are encouraged to alert the SC if you come across any suspicious capital market activities.
The latest warning follows the watchdog's addition of five illegal entities to its Invest Alert List last week.
