Securities Commission Malaysia Flags Two Illegal Financial Entities

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has updated the Investor Alert List that contains the list of unauthorised websites, investment products, companies and individuals. Please take note that this list is not exhaustive and only serves as a guide to investors prior to making any investment decisions.
The following person(s)/entity(ies) was/were added to the list as at 15 December 2022:
1. Avant Markets
2. Global Investment Network
The list is updated periodically for public's reference. Members of the public are encouraged to alert the SC if you come across any suspicious capital market activities.
Earlier this month, the financial watchdog has issued a warning against a clone of Interactive Brokers.
