Shannon Anastasia Johnston Elected to Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG

Fazzaco learned that today Deutsche Börse AG shareholders has elected Shannon Anastasia Johnston as a shareholder representative to the Supervisory Board at its Annual General Meeting. 

According to the bank, Johnston succeeds Karl-Heinz Flöther, who has resigned from his mandate and left the board after ten years.

Johnston has assumed the chairmanship of the Supervisory Board's Technology Committee. She brings more than 18 years working experience in the technology and financial technology industry. Currently, she serves as Chief Technology Officer of Global Payments Inc., who is responsible, among others, for the areas of data, analysis and corporate architecture worldwide.

Before joining Global Payments, Johnston worked as Chief Information Officer of Mspark, Inc. Prior to that, she held positions at Epicor Software Corporation (former ShopVisible, LLC) as Chief Operating Officer.

Deutsche Bank realized strong financial results in the first quarter of 2022​ with a profit before tax of €1.7 billion in this quarter, up 4% year on year. To promote sustainable development, the bank requires an external vendor sustainability rating from EcoVadis or another eligible rating agency​, as Fazzaco reported.
