What is the difference...wait, hold on a minute. Oops, I got it wrong, you're talking about THE SHIBA INU, the cryptocurrency. Well, it appears like we're in a world where anybody can make anything a crypto.

So Shiba Inu the crypto, like many of its predecessors, is decentralized, and was created anonymously (sounds familiar again, huh?) in August 2020. The name came from the Japanese dog breed mentioned earlier, and it is exactly the same breed you see in Dogecoin's symbol.

The price, however, began to fall in early November and continued to fall throughout the month, losing about 55% of its value by the end of the month.

As we moved to the new year, the token fell to a low of $0.00001744 on January 22 before recovering to $0.00003493 at the end of the month. It plummeted to $0.00002087 after a steady slide aggravated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
