Shift4 Teams Up with San Antonio Spurs to Enhance Payment Solutions
The San Antonio Spurs have officially partnered with Shift4, a leader in integrated payments and commerce technology, designating the company as their official integrated payment technology partner. This collaboration aims to modernize the transaction processes at the Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field, enhancing the overall experience for fans.
Shift4's advanced payment technology will be implemented for ticketing and concessions, allowing for a more efficient and seamless purchasing experience. This includes innovations such as kiosk ordering and AI-driven self-checkout solutions, which are designed to expedite transactions at both venues. Currently, Shift4 devices are operational at the Frost Bank Center, with plans to roll out at Toyota Field in time for the 2025 San Antonio FC season.
Dustin Alpert, Shift4's Head of Sports & Entertainment, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, "We are excited to collaborate with the Spurs to elevate the game-day experience. Our end-to-end commerce solution will streamline venue operations and provide quick, convenient payment options for fans."
