Siege FX Hires Mathijs Peeters as New Head of Distribution for Europe, Elevates Marek Robertson to CPO

Siege FX, a Capital Markets FinTech providing FX Dark Pools, has announced two senior changes today. The company has hired Mathijs Peeters as new Head of FX Distribution for Europe, succeeding Marek Robertson, who has risen to Chief Product Officer.
Mathijs, who boasts 25-year experience in FX, joins Siege FX from Optiver where he was Head of FX Distribution. Prior to that, he served BlueCrest Capital Management as FX FinTech Business Manager. Previously, he served multiple banks, including HSBC as Director FX Institutional Sales, Nomura as Managing Director FX Sales Northern Europe, and RBS International as Managing Director FX Sales Benelux.
As CPO, Marek is tasked with enhancing the Siege FX's existing services, MidPool and NetFix™, as well as developing several new services leveraging the firm's flexible technology stack.
"We continue to build on our growth and the launch of new services to scale the business. With Mathijs responsible for distribution in Europe and Paul Alves continuing to manage distribution in the Americas, we have a world-class business development team. Their experience and extensive client relationships will play a key role in support of our expansion," said Claude Goulet, CEO of Siege FX.
"I would also like to congratulate Marek on his promotion to Chief Product Officer, where his in-depth knowledge of the FX market will drive the development of new services in collaboration with our bank and buy-side participants."
