Silvia Gajdosik Promoted as Swissquote’s Head of Eastern Europe Desk

Fazzaco learned that Swissquote, Switzerland's leading bank in online financial services, has announced the promotion of Silvia Gajdosik to the position of the Head of Eastern Europe Desk.

Gajdosik Joins Swissquote in 2014 as senior forex sales authorized officer and was then promoted to the position of the senior business development manager role, where she helped the online bank drive its profitable revenue growth and market share of its customers through making new acquisitions, deepening its existing customer relationships and cross-selling.

With a track record of overseeing the bank's operational, strategy, and knowledge work in the eastern European states as well as working with various stakeholders and clientele in Bulgaria and other eastern European countries, Gajdosik will be responsible for spearheading product growth and business development for the company's offerings in her new role.

Before Swissquote, Gajdosik has spent six years at MIG Bank as a Senior Business Development Executive, helping establish B2B partnerships mainly in central and eastern European countries, covering forex and CFDs trading.

Prior to joining MIG Bank, she served as a buyer and shipping planner at Tinaco Limited. And, before that, she worked as an International Transaction Associate at VUB, the second largest bank in Slovakia.

Swissquote Ltd, Swissquote's UK entity has also announced changes to its Senior Management​ this month. Michela Pollini and Jack Rawlings have been appointed as Executive Directors, subject to regulatory approval, to guarantee the continuity and stability of business development as well as the firm's expansion on UK territory, following the departure of Swissquote UK CEO Federico Cirulli.
