Singapore: Majority of Retail Investors Hold Cryptocurrency, Survey Finds

A recent survey by MoneyHero and Coinbase indicates that 61% of active retail investors in Singapore hold cryptocurrency. The survey included 3,513 respondents.

The average self-reported portfolio allocation to cryptocurrency was between 6% and 12%. When selecting crypto exchanges, 65% of investors identified trust as the primary factor, followed by fees at 42%.

The joint report suggests a new phase of maturity for Singapore's cryptocurrency market, characterized by increased ownership, cautious allocations, and a preference for trust over fees in exchange selection.
