The firm has appointed Stuart Wrigley as Partner to head the regional operation, as well as to lead international capital formation and strategy.

Wrigley, who joins after a 24-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, will be responsible for investor engagement and capital development across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. At Goldman Sachs Asset Management, he most recently served as Head of Client Solutions Group in Asia Pacific, overseeing tailored investment strategies for institutional and wealth clients.

In his new role, Wrigley will oversee both the firm’s regional fundraising initiatives and the development of new investment capabilities, as Sixth Street seeks to deepen ties with existing clients while forming new strategic partnerships. The firm, which manages over $115 billion in assets and committed capital, has maintained an investment presence in Asia Pacific for over a decade, with prior exposure to platforms including data center operator AirTrunk and logistics firm ESR Group.

The Singapore office will serve as a new operational base for Sixth Street in Southeast Asia and is intended to support expanded direct engagement with institutional investors and portfolio companies in the region.
