SpaceX Reportedly Targets June IPO; Holds $545M in Bitcoin
SpaceX is preparing a confidential IPO filing as early as March, aiming for a June listing that could value the company at more than $1.75 trillion and raise up to $50 billion, according to Bloomberg. If completed at that scale, the offering would surpass the 2019 debut of Saudi Aramco.
Blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence shows SpaceX-associated wallets holding about 8,300 bitcoin in Coinbase Prime custody, currently valued at roughly $545 million.
The coin count has remained largely unchanged, but the dollar value has declined from about $780 million in December as bitcoin prices fell. If the company lists publicly, such price swings would likely translate into mark-to-market volatility in its financial reports, adding a crypto-linked variable to IPO-era earnings.
