Spotware Launches cBridge With Claims of 80% Infrastructure Cost Savings
Spotware Systems announced the launch of cBridge, a standalone liquidity bridge designed to connect brokers to multiple liquidity providers across different trading platforms. The company claims the product can reduce bridge-related costs by up to 80% for high-volume brokers by implementing a flat infrastructure pricing model, replacing traditional per-trade billing.
Under the prevailing industry model, bridge fees typically scale with trading volume. Spotware states cBridge upends this by charging based on server and connection count, aiming to keep costs consistent regardless of trading activity. The company argues the benefit compounds as broker volumes increase, allowing margins to expand instead of being eroded by rising fees.
Spotware CEO Ilia Iarovitcyn commented on the launch, stating, "For years, brokers have taken for granted that bridge costs rise with volume, and that managing routing rules means dealing with disconnected tables spread across multiple screens." A key selling point is platform neutrality. cBridge is built to connect cTrader, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and FIX API environments to multiple liquidity providers via a single interface, with unified quote pricing and routing rules.
This cross-platform approach targets a fragmented broker landscape. By making cBridge compatible with major platforms beyond its own cTrader, Spotware is pitching to a wider market and competing more directly with dedicated bridge providers. The company frames this under a "Be Open" design principle aimed at giving brokers greater flexibility in their technology stack.
The platform also includes interface features designed to streamline order routing management, such as color-coded validation and flags for inactive rules. The cBridge launch follows a period of reported rapid growth for Spotware, which said cTrader trading volumes doubled year-on-year in 2025. The move signals a strategic shift for the company beyond its identity as a single-platform vendor.
