Spotware's cBridge Partners Tapaas to Add Risk Analytics to Broker Trade Flow
Spotware's cBridge has partnered with Tapaas, a risk analytics platform for forex and CFD brokers, to connect the bridge's trading data to live dashboards. The agreement allows brokers to monitor exposure, execution quality, client behavior, and profitability from the same feed that routes their orders. cBridge is the standalone liquidity bridge Spotware launched in March, marking its first major expansion beyond its core cTrader platform. It aggregates prices and routes orders across MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and FIX API connections.
For brokers, the integration centralizes execution and risk management. Open positions, exposure, and P&L update in real time, enabling dealing teams to react to price movements. Tapaas also provides data on execution quality, flow behavior, and liquidity provider performance to aid in routing and hedging decisions. Profitability analysis by client, instrument, and book highlights profitable and loss-making segments. Tapaas recently launched a cross-broker database that flags traders identified as scalpers or front-runners at other member firms.
Alexis Droussiotis, co-general manager at cBridge, stated, "cBridge provides the execution and connectivity layer, while Tapaas adds the real-time intelligence." Tapaas claims it handles flow for dozens of brokers and can display a trade on its platform in under 10 milliseconds.
Both companies emphasize a cost structure not tied to trading volume, so a broker's costs do not automatically rise with client activity. cBridge charges for infrastructure, while Tapaas charges based on the number of integrations. Spotware's CEO Ilia Iarovitcyn argues brokers should not pay extra simply for scaling. Jonathan Squires, CEO of Tapaas, added, "If you're penalizing one of your clients for growth, your incentives are not aligned."
Integrating a bridge with risk tools is not new; Centroid Solutions offers its Centroid Bridge alongside Centroid Risk and integrated it into platforms like Match-Trader and BlackArrow last year. Others, like AltimaCRM and B2PRIME, have also recently launched standalone risk and analytics tools.
This partnership continues Spotware's move beyond a single platform. Since launching cBridge, the company has introduced a lead-generation program and opened cTrader to AI trading agents. Spotware reports cTrader serves over 11 million traders across more than 300 brokers and prop firms. The willingness of brokers to pay for an added analytics layer, versus bundled solutions from rivals, will test the platform's market reach.
