SquaredFinancial Offers Retail Traders Unrestricted Access to GameStop

SquaredFinancial, a global investment gateway to a full range of financial products and services, announced that it is backing individual and private investors by offering them unrestricted access to trade GameStop. From 2 February 2021, all SquaredFinancial traders are freely able to trade the stock.

According to Husam Al Kurdi, Chief Executive Officer at SquaredFinancial, SquaredFinancial has stood at the forefront of the democratisation of trading by providing increased and easier access to market products and data for many years. The company have pushed for a global market gateway that gives all individual and private investors the same opportunity as institutional traders. Following the high-profile activities of 'Reddit' traders, SquaredFinancial doesn't want to restrict access for anyone, which would go against everything the company have been trying to achieve. For this reason, SquaredFinancial intends to offer unrestricted access to trade GameStop. GameStop (NYSE: GME) will be available from 2 February 2021 on the SquaredFinancial MT5 platform as a single stock contract for differences (CFD). 

​Mr Al Kurdi also said that the new strength shown by individual investors is very significant, but as with all trading, SquaredFinancial have to make sure that necessary checks and balances are in place. SquaredFinancial will always back innovation and change as long as the participants stay within the guidelines.
