SquaredFinancial promotes Philios Petrides to Chief Data Officer

​SquaredFinancial, a forex and CFD broker offering trading services through online and mobile platforms, announced that it has promoted Philios Petrides to Chief Data Officer, which aims to drive forward the digital transformation of the company, making SquaredFinancial a leader in the development and application of enterprise data.

In his new role, Mr. Petrides will oversee three areas including governance, operations and business development, with a focus on implementing the insights offered by big data to improve the products and services delivered to SquaredFinancial's clients.

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Petrides joined SquaredFinancial in August 2020 as Global Head of Business Intelligence. Prior to that, he served as Head of Data & Business Intelligence at Scope Markets and easyMarkets. Mr. Petrides spent almost 5 years working at FxPro, a leading CFD & Spread Betting broker, where he was promoted to Head of Data & Business Intelligence Department in July 2018.

Mr Petrides is a graduate of the University of Northumbria with specialization in Internet Computing and Information Technology.
