StanChart Appoints Anshu Sharma Raja as Chief Information Officer, CPBB

Fazzaco learned that Standard Chartered​ has appointed Anshu Sharma Raja as its Chief Information Officer, Consumer, Private & Business Banking (CPBB), effective 1 August 2021. She will be based in Singapore, reporting to Group Chief Information Officer Michael Gorriz.

As seen on her LinekdIn profile, Anshu is currently Global Head, Retail Banking Products Technology at Standard Chartered. Prior to joining the bank, she served as SVP, Technology Infrastructure at Vodafone. Before that, she worked as Senior Director at AIG Science. Additionally, she once held positions at Goldman Sachs and Misys Banking Systems.

Anshu is a graduate of Bangalore University with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
