Standard Chartered Names Jason Forrester as Incoming Group Chief Risk Officer

Standard Chartered has announced the appointment of Jason Forrester as its next Group Chief Risk Officer, pending regulatory approval. Forrester, currently serving as Co-Head of Risk for Corporate & Investment Banking at the bank, is set to take over from Sadia Ricke, who will step down following a transition period.
The bank confirmed that Forrester will be based in London and report directly to Group Chief Executive Bill Winters. He will also join the Group's Management Team.
Forrester joined Standard Chartered five years ago and brings more than two decades of experience from Credit Suisse, where he held senior roles in risk and finance management across global markets.
"Sadia has made a significant impact, particularly in strengthening our client-focused, risk-aware culture," said Winters. "Jason's promotion reflects the depth of our internal talent and his strong alignment with our strategic priorities."
Ricke is expected to remain involved with the bank in a non-executive capacity, retaining a role on the US Risk Committee, subject to regulatory clearance.
