STARTRADER Strengthens Institutional Arm with New Head of Trading

Retail FX and CFDs broker STARTRADER has announced the appointment of Samin Aref Zaher as the Head of Trading for its recently launched institutional brokerage arm, STARprime. This hire marks another strategic addition to the company's executive team.
Samin Aref Zaher joins STARprime from SGX CurrencyNode, where he served as Liquidity Manager. Prior to that role, he spent six years at the London-based CFDs broker Valutrades, initially in Operations before being promoted to Head of Dealing. Commenting on his new position, Mr. Zaher stated, "I am excited to be part of a movement that is driven by data-led pricing and execution, coupled with strong relationships as our core culture. Our ultimate goal is to maximise value for our clients and stakeholders, culminating to a positive contribution to our industry."
Jay Mawji, CEO of STARprime, expressed enthusiasm for the new hire, saying, "Having Samin join us, with his aptitude, will play a significant role in influencing our mission to redefine and set new standards for liquidity provision. We've been on each other's radar for some time, and I'm glad we now have the opportunity to achieve great things together."
This appointment follows other recent strategic hires by the STARTRADER group, including Vinícius Danze as LATAM Manager, Moe Padhani as Chief Commercial Officer, Allan Maira as Head of Operations, and Jay Mawji himself, who previously served as CEO of INFINOX.
