State Street Global Advisors Names Apea Amoa as Chief Financial Officer

State Street Global Advisors, the asset management business of State Street Corporation, announced the appointment of Apea Amoa as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Amoa had previously been serving as the Global Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and CFO of the Global Institutional Group at State Street Global Advisors where he was responsible for all financial reporting and analysis for the global business. He will have dual reporting to both Cyrus Taraporevala, State Street Global Advisors President and CEO and John Slyconish, Executive Vice President, Finance for State Street Corporation. He has been with the company since January 2012.
Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors, Amoa spent eight years with Morgan Stanley, where he held several roles, including Head of the Management Reporting team and Head of Revenue Analysis and Reporting. He also worked with Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen.

Amoa's appointment follows four other senior leadership appointments and promotions at State Street Global Advisors. Recently, Steven Lipiner, the firm's prior CFO, was named Chief Operating Officer; John Brockelman was named Chief Marketing Officer; Sean O' Malley was named General Counsel; and Shweta Narasimhadevara joined the firm as Global Head of Product Management.
