Sterling Trading Tech names Erik Schmidt Chief Operating Officer

Sterling Trading Tech (STT), a provider of trading technology solutions for the equity, equity options, futures and digital asset trading, announced that it has appointed Erik Schmidt as its new Chief Operating Officer. 

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining STT, Erik was VP, Corporate Development and Client Solutions at Transworld Systems Inc. Before that, he held positions as Portfolio Manager at several companies including Gelber Group LLC, Liquid Capital, EJS Group and Capstone. Erik spent 2 years with Deutsche Bank as Director of Index Derivatives. He had worked as Head of Derivatives at Mako Group for 6 years.

Erik is a graduate of DePaul University with a bachelor degree in Finance.
