STICPAY and MetaTrader 5 Partner to Enhance Payment Integration

STICPAY, a global e-wallet and payment gateway provider, has announced a strategic partnership with MetaTrader 5 (MT5), one of the most widely used online trading platforms. The collaboration enables brokers using MT5 to integrate STICPAY's payment services seamlessly, eliminating the need for additional API development.

Sean Park, CEO of STICPAY, emphasized the significance of the partnership in light of the rapid expansion of the online trading industry. "We're excited to be part of this growing sector and especially pleased to have entered into a partnership with a platform as popular and highly regarded as MT5," Park stated.

Through this integration, brokers on MT5 can access STICPAY's e-wallet services and its payment aggregator, STIC Direct, without modifying their existing infrastructure. Brokers already operating on MT5 only need to sign a contract to enable the service, which supports multiple payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, cryptocurrency, and alternative payment solutions. The payment feature will be accessible on both desktop and mobile trading platforms.

MT5, developed by MetaQuotes, has over 8 million active accounts across more than 180 countries and serves as a leading platform for forex, stocks, and futures trading. Traders can sign up for a demo account directly through MT5, while live trading requires a brokerage that supports the platform.

Market analysts predict continued growth in the online trading sector, which was valued at $10.2 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $15.6 billion by 2030, according to Grand View Research. The rise in retail trading since the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with AI-driven advancements, is expected to drive further expansion.
