StoneX Registers 33% Rise in Operating Revenues for Q4 FY23

The diversified global brokerage StoneX Group Inc. has released its financial results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023 ended September 30, 2023, indicating solid results during this period, with operating revenues across all segments surging 33 percent on a yearly basis.
The total operating revenues for Q4 FY23 stood at $778.0 million, compared to $583.4 million in the year-ago quarter. In Q3 FY23, the operating revenue totaled $776.9 million.
Specifically, operating revenues derived from OTC derivatives was $59.9 million, 22 percent higher over Q4 FY22's $49.0 million.
Operating revenues from global payments came in at $52.9 million, up 21 percent from $43.6 million in the last same period.
Operating revenues from FX/CFD contracts, however, dipped 3 percent on a yearly basis to $79.2 million, mainly due to an 11 percent decline in in the FX/CFD contracts ADV.
The quarterly net income reached $50.7 million, falling from $52.3 million in the year-ago quarter. Besides, pre-tax earnings was up 14 percent year-over-year to $75.4 million.
These strong fourth quarter results contributed to a record full fiscal year financial performance, with diluted earnings per share of $11.18, up 12%, an increase in net asset value per share of $13.61, up 26%, and an ROE of 19.5% for the year.
