StreamBank Revenue Rises 6% in FY2026, but Net Loss Reaches £2.9M

StreamBank, the UK lending and savings bank launched by ActivTrades controlling shareholder Alex Pusco, reported its fiscal 2026 results with revenue (net operating income) of £12.0 million, up 6% from £11.4 million in 2025. However, the bank posted a net loss of £2.9 million, compared to a profit of £0.9 million the previous year, driven by one-off provisions on legacy loans. The bank expects these provisions not to recur in FY2027.
The specialist property finance bank, which focuses on short-term lending and retail savings, saw its gross loan portfolio edge up to £165.4 million from £160.3 million, reflecting disciplined underwriting. StreamBank appointed Nick Treble as Chairman during the year, replacing John Reed.
In his statement, the Chairman noted that the year was one of consolidation amid economic uncertainty and geopolitical volatility affecting the UK housing market. The bank tightened credit risk appetite, constraining new lending and increasing provisioning, resulting in a pre-tax loss of £3.8 million. The actions taken are said to strengthen the bank's risk position for future performance.
Key developments included the introduction of Title Insurance, a Premier Panel of brokers, and a Bridge-to-Let product, with no drawdowns to date.
