Sucden Financial, the multi-asset execution, clearing and liquidity provider, reported its financial results for the year ending December 31, 2022, showing a flat performance in revenues and profits in 2022.

During the year, the firm recorded its total net assets of £160.7 million, increasing 12.7% compared to £142.6 million in 2021. Net revenues came in at £69.5 million, a slight decrease of 0.4% compared to £69.8 million in 2021. Moreover, Profit before taxation for the year rose sightly by 0.5% from £18.3 million in 2021 to £18.4 million.

Marc Bailey, Chief Executive Officer at Sucden Financial, said: "Sucden Financial delivered another strong performance in 2022, driven by the hard work and expertise of our people and the positive impact of our ongoing strategic initiatives. Our sustained investment in technology and the diversification of our services means the business is well positioned to deliver value in the year ahead."

Last July, Sucden Financial bought the trading, IT and IP assets of Atlantic Trading London Limited, a proprietary market-making derivatives trading house, and officially requested market maker status on ICE Futures Europe, with the intention of making markets on short-term interest rate (STIR) contracts from September 2022. Three months later, the firm successfully became a market maker for ICE Futures Europe's STIR options.
