Swissquote Extends Sponsorship Deals with Top Swiss Ice Hockey Clubs

Swissquote, a Swiss online broker, has announced the extension of its sponsorship agreements with two of Switzerland's most prestigious ice hockey teams, ZSC Lions from Zurich and the Geneve-Servette Hockey Club (GSHC). The renewed partnerships will continue for an additional three years, with Swissquote now positioned as one of the principal sponsors for both clubs.

"We are delighted to continue our successful collaboration with ZSC Lions and the Geneve-Servette Hockey Club," said Jan De Schepper, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) of Swissquote. He emphasized the importance of ice hockey in Swiss sports culture and expressed pride in supporting the two clubs, known for their exceptional performances and loyal fan bases.

The extended sponsorship includes prominent placement of Swissquote's logo on the teams' jerseys, stadium advertising, and hospitality at all Swiss National League games. This move underscores Swissquote's commitment to maintaining a strong local presence in Switzerland, particularly in Zurich and Gland, where the bank serves its domestic market. De Schepper highlighted the value of these partnerships in strengthening ties with clients and partners, stating, "This presence in the sporting community strengthens our ties to our clients and partners and enables us to establish direct contact with them in order to really connect and build relationships."
