Swissquote Introduces Fractional Trading and Saving Plan Features

Swissquote, a leading Swiss online banking and trading provider, has launched fractional trading and a new "Saving Plan" order type, aimed at giving investors greater flexibility and control over their portfolios. These new features allow clients to invest in fractions of shares, ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and other assets, making it easier for individuals to diversify their investments even with smaller budgets.
Jan De Schepper, Swissquote's Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, highlighted the company's commitment to providing accessible investment options, stating, "Our mission at Swissquote has always been to democratise investing... we are offering our clients unprecedented flexibility and control over their investments."
The new Saving Plan allows clients to make recurring investments based on their available funds, and fractional shares are converted into full shares when enough fractions accumulate. Swissquote's reduced trading fees further enhance accessibility, making these new offerings attractive to a broader range of investors.
