Swissquote Introduces Proprietary Crypto Platform "SQX"

Swissquote announced on Friday via social media, that "after months of hard work, the crypto trading platform made in Swissquote is ready for its launch. Your assets will now be managed without intermediaries, stored and traded on SQX."
Customers of Swissquote can currently trade cryptocurrencies either through the eBanking portal's cryptocurrency service or the eTrading platform's cryptocurrency service. Since cryptocurrencies cannot presently be traded directly against CHF, one must have a Swissquote trading account with funds in EUR and/or USD.
As of now, Swissquote customers can trade cryptocurrencies through the company's mobile applications, its Crypto Assets platform (which can be accessed through the eBanking or trading platform), and/or the trading Workspace.
The majority of digital assets are priced in USD or EUR, and as long as your purchasing power is positive, you can trade them. Remember that Swissquote may charge you debt interest on the USD (or EUR) amount lent to you if you traded but did not have USD (or EUR) on your account.
Swissquote has been consistently adding new cryptocurrencies to its portfolio, which now numbers 34, including well-known ones like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
In August, Fazzaco reported that Swissquote welcomed WisdomTree as its ETP partner.
