Swissquote Shareholders Approve All Board Proposals at Annual Meeting
Shareholders of Swissquote Group Holding Ltd have voted in favor of all motions put forward by the Board of Directors at the company's ordinary General Meeting.
The approved resolutions include a gross dividend of CHF 7.40 per share, payable on 13 May 2026. Shareholders also elected Hans-Rudolf Köng as the new Chair of the Board and Thomas Romer as a new Board member effective 1 July 2026. Current Board members Jean-Christophe Pernollet, Monica Dell'Anna, Michael Ploog, Paolo Buzzi, Demetra Kalogerou, and Esther Finidori were re-elected. The meeting also confirmed the re-election of Dell'Anna, Buzzi, and Köng to the Remuneration Committee, appointed Ernst & Young Ltd as auditors for 2026, and approved an amendment to the Articles of Association for a 1:10 share split.
Outgoing Chair Markus Dennler, who did not stand for re-election due to age limits, stated, "In 2025, Swissquote achieved solid growth indicators and delivered strong financial results, reflecting the diversification of its business model." He thanked shareholders and employees for their trust and dedication.
Newly elected Chair Hans-Rudolf Köng said, "I warmly thank Markus for his outstanding leadership, strategic insight and dedication over more than two decades." He added, "I look forward to working with the Board and Executive Management to enter the next phase of growth. Our focus will remain on innovation and digitalisation to ensure Swissquote's long-term success."
