TFX Records Drop in Click 365 Trading Volume for May 2024

The Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX), the operator of multiple Japanese trading venues, published its trading volume for May 2024, revealing a decrease in Click 365 trading volume for the month compared to both the previous month and the same period last year.

Trading Overview for May 2024:

• The total trading volume of FX Daily Futures contracts (Click 365) was 2,416,882 (-15.0% MoM / -3.0% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 105,082.

• The total trading volume of Equity Index Daily Futures contracts (Click kabu 365) was 3,427,351 (-25.5% MoM / -34.4% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 149,070.

• The trading volume of Interest Rate Futures contracts was 114,539 (+12.0% MoM / +1,001.2% YoY) and its average daily volume was 5,454

• The total trading volume of FX Clearing was 11,392,829 and its average daily volume was 495,340. And its open position amount at end of the month was 224,907 thousand US dollar.

• Combined trading volume for all TFX products was 17,351,601(-22.9% MoM / -34.2% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 754,946.
