TFX's Click 365 Sees 11.1% MoM Decline in FX Trading Volume for February 2023

The Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX), the operator of multiple Japanese trading venues, today released its trading volume for February 2023, revealing the trading volume of FX Daily Futures contracts (Click 365) has declined for two consecutive months.
The total trading volume of FX Daily Futures contracts (Click 365) was 2,370,295 (-11.1% MoM / +15.9% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 118,516.
The total trading volume of Equity Index Daily Futures contracts (Click kabu 365) was 5,974,459 (+9.1% MoM / +2.9% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 298,722.
The trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 1 and its average daily volume was 0. While in January 2023, the trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 171 and its average daily volume was 9.
The total trading volume of FX Clearing was 5,601,660 and its average daily volume was 280,083. And its open position amount at end of the month was 514,386 thousand US dollar. While in January 2023, the total trading came in at 4,582,219 and its average daily volume was 208,283, and its open position amount at end of the month was 383,222 thousand US dollar.
Combined trading volume for all TFX products was 13,946,415 (+9.6% MoM /-4.0% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 697,321.
