TFX's Click 365 Trading Volume Drops in July 2023

The Tokyo Financial Exchange (TFX), the operator of multiple Japanese trading venues, today released its trading volume for July 2023, witnessing a decrease in trading volume of Click 365 both on a monthly and yearly basis.

Trading Overview in July 2023:

• The total trading volume of FX Daily Futures contracts (Click 365) was 2,586,333 (-6.0% MoM / -7.9% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 123,162.

• The total trading volume of Equity Index Daily Futures contracts (Click kabu 365) was 3,479,377 (-21.1% MoM / -20.2% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 165,685.

• The trading volume of Interest Rate Futures contracts was 13,996 (-0.8% MoM) and its average daily volume was 700. (Trading of Option on three-month Euroyen futures has been suspended since March 20,2023.)

• The total trading volume of FX Clearing was 17,457,063 and its average daily volume was 831,289. And its open position amount at end of the month was 332,254 thousand US dollar.

• Combined trading volume for all TFX products was 23,536,769(-18.7% MoM / 82.2% YoY) and its average daily trading volume was 1,120,836.
