The Funded Trader Announces Price Adjustments and New Soft Breach Policy

The Funded Trader (TFT) has announced two significant updates regarding its pricing and account rules, set to take effect on April 26. The company indicated these changes are aimed at scaling monthly payouts and reinforcing account integrity, and were designed in response to community feedback.
TFT recently reported paying out over $300,000 to its traders in the last two weeks, and the firm stated its intention to restore its monthly payouts to over $1 million.
The announced changes include updated challenge prices and the implementation of a new soft breach policy.
Regarding updated challenge prices, TFT is adjusting the cost of its evaluation programs. The company stated it is maintaining its position as the lowest-priced challenge provider in the prop trading sector. These price adjustments are described as being driven by the firm’s advanced simulation models, intended to enable sustainable growth without compromising payout efficiency or accessibility.
Specific new prices for the Knight Challenge (after maximum discount) were provided for various account sizes: $39 for a $5K account, $60 for $10K, $90 for $25K, $135 for $50K, $255 for $100K, and $450 for $200K. Knight Pro Challenge prices are noted as remaining nearly identical, with slight increases on higher-tier accounts. New prices for the Royal Pro Challenge were also listed: $118 for a $25K account, $148 for $50K, $298 for $100K, and $510 for $200K. TFT stated these price updates support quicker payouts and better profit splits, and are intended to ensure the firm remains a preferred choice for aspiring traders.
In addition to price changes, TFT is implementing a new Soft Breach 3-Strike Policy, effective Friday, April 26. This policy is intended to address what the company described as rising misuse of the soft breach rule on daily drawdowns. Under this new rule, traders who accumulate three soft breaches within a single phase of their evaluation will incur a hard breach, resulting in permanent account deactivation. TFT stated that traders will continue to receive detailed email alerts providing information about breach times, levels, remaining warnings, and account reactivation information. The policy is noted as starting fresh, meaning prior soft breaches will not be counted under the new system.
The provided information also included current pass rates for some of TFT's challenges, indicating that the Knight Pro Challenge has the highest success rate at 14.15%, while the Dragon Challenge has the lowest at 3.7%.
