The Investment Association Adds Seven New Executives to Board

The UK’s Investment Association (IA), which represents UK investment managers, announced that it has appointed seven new directors to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

According to the association, the appointees join the board from a range of firms including some of the largest asset managers in the country, and more boutique firms ensuring the board continues to be representative of the whole investment management sector.

The appointees are: Alexandra Altinger, Chief Executive at J O Hambro Capital Management; Catherine O’Reilly, Regional Managing Partner and Chief Administrative Officer at Fiera Capital; Hassan Elmasry, Managing Partner at Independent Franchise Partners; Stephen Cohen, Head of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa region at BlackRock; Sean Hagerty, Managing Director at Vanguard Europe; Peter Harrison, Group Chief Executive at Schroders; Chris Hill, Chief Executive at Hargreaves Lansdown.

These new appointments replace existing vacancies and directors whose second and final term of office expired at the 2021 AGM.
