The Libra Association Hires Ian Jenkins as its CFO and CRO

The blockchain-based organization Libra Association ​announced that it has appointed Ian Jenkins as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Libra Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Libra Association.

Ian Jenkins brings three decades of senior leadership experience in financial services across a variety of executive roles in risk, operations, and strategy to Libra Networks. His expertise lies in risk and finance transformation programs, cost leadership, business partnering, investment prioritization and decisioning, management information, talent development, and global operating model transformation.

Prior to joining the Libra project, he was the Head of Business Finance and Group General Manager at HSBC. As a distinguished industry leader with a broad global background, he has also held senior positions at top international banks including Credit Suisse, and Santander.

The appointment of Mr. Jenkins follows a series of progress updates this year for Libra Association, including Stuart Levey as CEO and Steve Bunnell as Chief Legal Officer.
