Thekla Paschali Leaves SquaredFinancial for payabl. as CTO

Fazzaco learned that Thekla Paschali has parted ways with SquaredFinancial, a CySEC licensed fintech brokerage, in January, and joined a paytech payabl. as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in February.

"I'm excited to announce that I have started a new role at payabl. as Chief Technology Officer," Thekla posted on LinkedIn. "I'm so proud to be joining the team and can’t wait to help them dominate the payment market – watch this space!"

payabl. is a brand launched by Powercash21​, a regulated Payments Institution, in October 2021.

During her time at SquaredFinancial, Thekla worked as Technical Support Lead initially, then was promoted to IT Manager after seven months. In February 2021, she became Head of Information Technology of the firm.

Prior to that, she was Trading Platform Administrator at Tickmill, a multi-regulated Forex and CFD provider. Previously, she has spent four years at PrimeXM, a leading technology provider in the finance sector, as Senior Technical Support Engineer.
