ThinkMarkets Bags DFSA License, Eyes UAE Expansion

Fazzaco learned that ThinkMarkets, the leading multi-asset trading provider, has got the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA)'s nod to launch operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
With the new license, ThinkMarkets can onboard clients in UAE, and offer local clients access to a suite of advanced trading tools embedded within the ThinkTrader prop trading platform.
At 2023 end, ThinkTrader web has been integrated with TradingView, the all-things trading platform for traders and the global leader in charting and analysis tools. Whereas, ThinkMarkets has stopped providing services to U.S. clients of prop trading companies since February 23 due to the tightened regulations on prop trading.
"Our new DFSA licence will help better serve our customer-base, while also helping extend ThinkMarkets' presence into new, strategic markets in the region," said ThinkMarkets Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Faizan Anees. The company is cooking up plans to expand in the UAE and and wider MENA region.
ThinkMarkets is aimed at expanding globally. Last year, the company has formed a new branch in New Zealand, looking to grow presence in the APAC region.
