ThinkMarkets to Offer Platinum Spot Trading

Fazzaco learned that Australia / UK based Retail FX and CFD broker ThinkMarkets has made Platinum available for spot trading under the symbol XPT/USD for its global client base.
At the same time, the broker is withdrawing Platinum Futures from its offering. This is to say, ThinkMarkets’ clients can now open Platinum positions without contract expiration.
According to the official press release, all open Future positions on PLATINUM will expire as of market close on May 26. From then on, new positions will not have an expiration date and swap charges will apply every night at rollover.
Let's recall that, ThinkMarkets added South African shares and ETFs to its offering in April. The new, advanced technology is designed to deliver an accessible entry to investing into shares of companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange to local investors (JSE), enabling clients to invest in all exchange traded funds (ETFs) and notes (ETNs).
As Fazzaco reported earlier, the multi-asset online brokerage has started offering FX trading services in Japan after obtaining an Financial Instruments Business Operator license from the local financial market regulator, Financial Services Agency (JFSA).
