Thought Machine appoints Andy Maguire as new Chair

Thought Machine recently announced that it has secured a new Chair, with Andy Maguire taking on the role, effective immediately. The former Chair Richard Little has stepped down from his role.
The Banking tech provider said that Andy Maguire will be responsible for driving the company’s infrastructural and operational strategy. Additionally, he will oversee the company’s future expansion and partnerships with leading banks as well.
Andy Maguire left HSBC this June after spending five years and seven months with the bank. There, he was appointed as a Group Chief Operating Officer, leading the bank’s IT, business operations, change support, procurement and real estate services.
Before that, he was the Senior Partner and Managing Director at the global management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for sixteen years.

Thought Machine raised $125m in a series B round, the fourth largest fundraising round in UK fintech this year. The company has seen a series of senior hires over the few months and added more than 150 employees.
