Tickmill, CMC Markets, Robinhood and Other Five Companies Are Hiring Now

This week, the liquidity crisis in the banking industry continues to spread in the aftermath of the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank​. Of particular note was the transaction between of Credit Suisse and UBS. 

Last weekend, at the behest of regulators, UBS acquired Credit Suisse for CHF 3 billion, ultimately bringing an ignominious end to the 167-year-old Swiss bank.

The failure raises fresh questions about whether this is the start of a broader banking meltdown.

"I think the answer is no one knows," said Jonas Goltermann, deputy chief markets economist at Capital Economics. He believed that the actions of central banks and regulators have restored "a degree of stabilization" but "only time will tell" whether that will be enough to stem a wider crisis.

Meanwhile, things haven't looked any better for cryptocurrencies and fintech industries. On Monday, Amazon.com said it would axe another 9,000 roles totaling 27,000 job cuts in recent months. And SpankChain, a Ethereum-based adult entertainment platform, is shuttering its crypto payment processor, SpankPay, after losing its payment service provider Wyre in February and failing to find a new one. 

Given this, job hunting is getting harder indeed. Despite layoffs, Fazzaco recently found that multiple financial firms, brokerages in particular, are strengthening their tech teams with new hires. Let's look at what jobs they're offering and what are the responsibilities.

1. ZFX​ - Head of Marketing (FOREX/Crypto), Malaysia

ZFX, a regulated financial institution, is searching for Head of Marketing for Forex/Crypto in Malaysia who will be responsible for leading marketing team, as well as planning and executing marketing strategies and so on.

Requirements:

• 5 years of work experience in marketing;

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or technology;

• Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns;

• Good understanding of marketing technology;

• Experience in using analytics tools used in digital marketing;

2. FXCM - Trade Finance Analyst

FXCM, a leading online forex trading and CFD broker, is hiring a Trade Finance Analyst, an entry-level position responsible for comparing back office's position to the firm's Prime Brokerage's real time reporting portal.

• Native Arabic Speaker;

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral;

4. OKX - AML Operations Manager

The individual will help manage the establishment of the Transaction Monitoring & AML Investigations team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia including recruitment, and establishing processes, policies, and procedures/guidelines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in transaction monitoring and AML with a track record of being strategic, analytical and operational execution oriented;

• 2+ years in people management / leadership;

• Excellent knowledge of AML/CFT/Sanctions, money transmission regulations, and industry best practices;

• 7+ years of FCC related compliance experience;

US-based online broker Robinhood is searching for Senior Directors and CCOs of Robinhood Derivatives. The Chief Compliance Officer of RHD (Robinhood Derivatives) will champion a culture of compliance and be responsible for managing compliance for Robinhood's newly formed entity that focuses on futures, event contracts, and options on futures.

Requirements:

• 8+ years industry experience, with 5 years futures, forex and virtual currency compliance and regulatory experience;

• Prior experience at a financial services regulator (NFA, CFTC);

• Experience writing policies, procedures or other business procedure related documents;

• Project management skills and the ability or organize and process large amounts of data/information;

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

8. Crypto.com​ - Financial Crime Analyst, Malta

The global crypto platform Crypto.com is hiring a Financial Crime Analyst in Malta. The individual will assist the company in ensuring AML/CFT Compliance.

Requirements:

• I.T. proficiency is a must;

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in an AML/CFT role within a financial institution regulated in Malta, experience in virtual financial assets (cryptocurrency) will be considered an asset;

• A thorough understanding of AML/CFT regulations within the fintech industry;

• General compliance experience in multiple fields including AML, Sanctions, KYC and Onboarding;

• Hands on experience in conducting financial crime investigations and writing corresponding narratives;
