Tickmill, MUFG, Wells Fargo and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

Companies in the financial industry are still struggling with an uncertain economic environment this week.

The banking sector has been hit hardest. Earlier this week, Lloyds Banking Group​ revealed its 44 new branch closures, drawing a line under the provision of face-to-face services in 155 branches in total by the end of 2023. Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), the country's biggest lender, also said it would cut up to 200 jobs.

The crypto industry, however, has not picked up much since the "Crypto Winter" in 2022. The crypto giant Binance, which has been hit by regulators in several countries including the US and UK, announced this week that it had withdrawn its application for a crypto license in Germany.

It is worth noting that some countries have taken a more explicit approach to the crypto sector. For example, the Namibia​ officially signed a law to regulate Virtual Asset Service Providers operating in the country last week, reversing its original 2017 decision to ban cryptocurrency exchanges. Indonesia launched the country's official cryptocurrency trading institutions. Kuwait​, however, became the latest jurisdiction to ban virtually all operations involving cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Given the overall economic conditions, job hunting remains difficult. However, Fazzaco found that there are many forex brokers, crypto firms and fintech companies are eager to hire new forces to strengthen their customer services, compliance and technology team this week. Let's take a look at what jobs they offer and what the requirements are!

1. Tickmill - Customer Support Officer (Arabic Speaker)

Tickmill, a global leading multi-regulated broker is looking to hire a Arabic-Speaking Customer Support Officer to assist with all client queries via live chats, emails, and phone calls for the Tickmill group.

Requirements:

• 1-year experience in a Customer Support or Sales position in a regulated financial services company;

• Native Arabic Speaker, is a Must;

• Excellent knowledge of the English Language both written and oral, is a Must;

• Deep Understanding and experience with financial products and ETDs such as Futures & Options, will be considered a big advantage;

• College or university degree;

• Computer literate, good capacity of Microsoft Office applications;

• Flexible to work on Cyprus Public holidays on rotation;

• Any extra knowledge of any language will be considered an advantage.

2. FP Markets​ - Trading Platform Administrator

FP Markets, a well-established global CFD broker, is hiring a Trading Platform Analyst to join their team in Limassol, responsible for resolving issues related to the trading platforms, systems and software, as well as periodic health and performance checks of all trading platforms and systems.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant field;

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position;

• Good understanding of the Forex market;

• Hands-on experience with trading platforms, especially with MT4/MT5/cTrader;

• Experience with Windows/Linux scripting language will be considered an advantage;

• Knowledge in SQL queries will be considered an advantage;

• Experience with Zabbix/Graylog/Kibana/New Relic systems will be considered an advantage.

3. MUFG Investor Services - Junior Associate Director, Investor Operations

MUFG Investor Services is part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), providing global investment firms with administration, asset services, banking and fund financing. The arm is looking for a Junior Associate Director, Investor Operations whose responsibilities include but are not limited to manage and guide direct reports in daily deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting and cash.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferably in a business related field or related experience;

• 3+ years experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking or client service;

• A demonstratable ability to problem solve complex issues and provide guidance, assistance and training would be expected;

• Knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities;

• Demonstrate team leadership experience in Investor Services, fund administration or relevant industry;

• Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products;

• Existing client/customer service experience would be ideal;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.

4. Mastercard - Manager of Transfer Solutions

Mastercard, a global technology company in the payments industry, is searching for a Manager – Transfer Solutions, to drive product commercialization and go-to-market execution for Mastercard's Transfer Solutions (Cross Border Services and Mastercard Send).

Requirements:

• Cross-functional team leadership experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently and delivering timely results under tight timelines;

• Deep knowledge and experience within the cross border as well as faster and push payments industry;

• Prior experience in sale and product commercialization is preferred.

5. Pepperstone​ - Regional Head of Compliance

Pepperstone, a regulated online Forex and CFD trading platform, is looking for a Regional Head of Compliance, overseeing a team of regional compliance professionals. The role will directly report to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in Melbourne.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated regulatory compliance experience with an OTC derivatives issuer (CFD's, leveraged FX) and AML/CTF experience in the financial services industry;

• Strong understanding of the financial services and AML/CTF regulatory environment and licensing regimes;

• Strong understanding of compliance management principles and industry best practice;

• Proven leadership and communications skills with a track record of success and achieving results while effectively advising the business on compliance matters;

• Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and collaborate with multiple teams across functions and geographies;

• Regulatory knowledge or experience in multiple jurisdictions will be an advantage;

6. LMAX Group - Tax Manager

LMAX Group, a leading operator of institutional exchanges for trading FX and digital assets, is hiring a Tax Manager who will report to the Head of Finance and take on a variety of responsibilities. The position has a compliance emphasis, though includes broader elements of finance and advisory across the LMAX Group.

Requirements:

• ACA/CTA qualified;

• Likely an experienced UK corporate tax generalist;

• Experience with both current and deferred taxes;

• Wider tax experience (e.g. international/indirect) advantageous but not essential;

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English;

• Financial services experience is advantageous;

• The right to work in the UK permanently is required.

7. Wells Fargo​ - Customer Service Manager

Wells Fargo, an American multinational financial services company, is looking for a Customer Service Manager who will manage and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Customer Service, Financial Services or Contact Center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education;

• 2+ years of leadership experience;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office is a plus.
