The contracts for difference (CFD) broker said the collaboration aims to “deepen locally relevant communications and education,” highlighting its focus on tailored outreach strategies.

Alfouzan is widely known in the Arab online community, with more than 2.7 million YouTube subscribers and 1.6 million TikTok followers. Tickmill’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kay Hook, noted that the influencer “combines community trust, market awareness, and a strong focus on education,” adding that the company sees value in partnering with voices that can help “support responsible trading behaviours.”

The Kuwait office launch last month marked Tickmill’s broader push across the Gulf region. The broker also maintains a well-established presence in Dubai and opened an additional office in Oman earlier this year. “Our Kuwait office is an important step in our regional expansion, bringing support and new solutions closer to our clients,” said Mohamed Abdelbaki, Regional Marketing Manager at Tickmill.

Gulf Region Continues to Attract Broker Expansion

Tickmill’s moves align with a wider trend of brokers increasing their footprint in the Middle East. Rival CFD broker XS.com also opened a Kuwait office this year, echoing similar intentions around offering localized support and capturing regional growth.

The Gulf market has become a focal point due to rising retail trading activity. Capital.com reported that trading volumes across the Middle East and North Africa reached $804.1 billion in the first half of 2025, representing a 53 percent jump from the previous period, with the UAE accounting for over 70 percent of that volume.

Tickmill has previously noted growth in its own regional activity, including a reported record of $135 billion in trading volume in the first half of 2024—a 54 percent increase compared to earlier periods.
