Tickmill Strengthens Latin American Strategy with New Regional Appointment

Global brokerage Tickmill has appointed Brunno Huertas as Regional Manager for Latin America (LATAM), signaling a strategic push to deepen its presence across one of the world's fastest-growing trading regions. Based in Limassol, Huertas will lead the company's expansion efforts, focusing on brand visibility, client engagement, and the development of Introducing Broker (IB) partnerships across both Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets.
Huertas has more than 15 years of experience in financial markets and has been instrumental in shaping Tickmill's growth in South America. His new mandate expands this focus to the broader LATAM region, aligning the company's operations under a unified regional strategy.
"Latin America offers enormous potential, and our vision is to strengthen Tickmill's presence by building strong relationships with clients and partners," Huertas said. "Expanding our IB network and creating a trusted brand will drive sustainable growth for the region's trading community."
Tickmill, which operates in multiple regulatory jurisdictions globally, has been increasing its attention to emerging markets where financial education and digital adoption are growing rapidly. Across Latin America, retail traders have shown rising interest in multi-asset trading platforms, including forex and CFDs, spurred by improved internet access and greater exposure to global financial markets.
By expanding its Introducing Broker network, Tickmill aims to engage more closely with local partners who can support education, compliance, and customer outreach within their respective markets. The firm said its focus remains on transparency, reliability, and long-term relationships, rather than short-term volume growth.
