Tickmill Taps Derek Wilks as Chief Financial Officer

Fazzaco learned that Tickmill, an FCA-licensed Forex and CFD broker, has tapped Derek Wilks as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

As seen on his LinkedIn profile, Derek joins Tickmill from BGC Partners, where he was Group CFO. Prior to BGC Partners, he worked as CFO at Otkritie Securities Ltd. Additionally, he served as Global Finance Director at Link/ICAP from 2001 to 2010.

Derek is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde with a bachelor's degree in Accountancy.

Earlier this month, Fazzaco reported that Tickmil has added MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to its suite of trading platforms​ on desktop, web, Android and iOS devices. With the newly launched MetaTrader 5 platform, Tickmil's traders can trade a variety of CFD asset classes, including Forex, stock indices, metals, bonds and stocks (available soon) more efficiently and faster.
