Tickmill UK, the UK unit of forex broker Tickmill, reported an 11% decline in trading revenue for 2025, according to a Companies House filing. The company attributed the drop to a different mix of traded products and lower swap and mark-ups income. Despite the revenue fall, notional trading volume rose to US$146 billion from US$136 billion in the previous year.

The filing shows Tickmill UK closed 2025 with revenue of over £5.5 million, down from £6.2 million in 2024. Pre-tax profit after costs was £931,297, compared with almost £1.16 million a year earlier. The company said the profit decline reflected lower external swap charges, increased external commission charges and slightly higher foreign exchange movements. Client assets held by the company remained almost flat at £11.7 million.

Globally, Tickmill handled $2.36 trillion in client volume and processed 123 million trades in 2025. Average monthly trading volume increased 40% year-on-year, while total trades executed rose 24%.

Beyond the UK, Tickmill is regulated in Cyprus and operates globally through an offshore unit in the Seychelles. It also holds a financial services licence in South Africa, which allows it to promote and market its offshore services there. Towards the end of last year, the broker opened a new office in Kuwait City, extending its Middle East footprint following the launch of its Oman location the previous month.

On the product side, Tickmill UK has extended beyond contracts for differences (CFDs), offering access to a broader range of global markets through the trading infrastructure of Interactive Brokers.
