Tickmill UK Reports £8.4 million Revenue in 2020, up 6% YoY

Tickmill UK, a fx and CFD broker, has reported its annual figures for 2020, ending on December 31. The broker’s revenue increased to £8.4 million, increasing 6% than 2019.

The broker saw a strong figure in the number of new retail clients in recent period. It had 6,618 new accounts in the period, 41 percent higher than 2019. With this, there are 38,797 total accounts for Tickmill UKin the end of year.

However, the operating profits of the company dived with the increased administrative expenses. This primarily resulted as the UK company had significantly increased its headcount and moved to new premises, thus generating a net profit of £677,290 for the year.

Tickmill UK CEO, Duncan Anderson said, “We saw strong performance last year with healthy top-line revenue growth which has enabled us to invest further into our technology and listed derivatives product offering.”
