Tim Albers Rejoins Barclays as Head of FX Strats & Structuring, AEJ, from Nomura

Fazzaco learned that Tim Albers has left Nomura, a global financial services group where he has spent for more than thirteen years, for British universal bank Barclays as Head of FX Strats and Structuring, Asia excluding Japan (AEJ).
During his time at Numora, Tim joined as Executive Director - FX Structuring, then rose to become Executive Director - FX Options Trading Singapore, and finally Head of FX Struturing, AEJ.
Prior to Nomura, between October 2008 and May 2009, Tim worked at Barclays Capital as Executive, FX. Previously, he served as Analyst, FX at Lehman Brothers. Besides, Tim holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Earlier this month, Fazzaco reported that Alistair Currie, who currently heads the consumer banking & payments unit at Barclays Plc, will replace Mark Ashton-Rigby in the Chief Operating Officer role on Feb. 1, 2023.
