Tinkoff updates voice assistant Oleg to help customers with savings & debt

Russia-based Tinkoff’s voice assistant Oleg has acquired a new set of skills for helping the Bank’s customers with their payments and setting spending limits as well as with recurring payments on times and credit card bills in the Tinkoff SuperApp. Oleg is expected to enable users to limit their unplanned spending by setting daily, weekly, or monthly spending limits of the customer’s choice, with the command, “Oleg, let’s save.”
Tinkoff stated that the voice assistant, since its launch in 2019, has been updated to handle various operations, including money transfers, mobile bill payments, showing customer’s income and expenses, credit card bill payments, etc. The company said in their press statement, “For Tinkoff Mobile subscribers Oleg is a personal voice concierge answering incoming calls, talking and joking with people on the other end, recording and converting audio messages to text using speech-to-text technologies.”
