TipRanks Introduces ETF Research Tools for Investors

TipRanks, a financial technology company that uses artificial intelligence to analyze financial big data to provide stock market institutional-grade research tools for retail investors, announced that it has added its ETF research capability and has launched research tools covering 7,000 Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).
According to the company's statement, the firm uses its proprietary technology calculates analyst forecast and price targets for ETFs on the basis of all the underlying assets in the ETF. They "figure out a weighted average of all the ETF’s holdings, and use that to calculate the average analyst consensus on the entire ETF". Clients will see the overall analyst rating, analyst price target, and upside or downside on an ETF.
TipRanks has also extended its Smart Score function to EFTs, predicting whether the ETF is likely to outperform the markets based on six key factors. The higher the score, the better the ETF has performed.
Furthermore, the company provides a Holdings page, with a clear and easy-to-read presentation of the data including the holdings count, dollar value of total assets, asset class, category and region of North America. The technical analysis page for each stock also shows a wealth of other values, such RSI, ADX and ROC with corresponding interpretation. Using these values, investors will be able to make more informed trading decisions.
"It has been out for less than a week and we have seen very strong demand (more than expected), mostly in North America and the UK. Our sales team are currently working around the clock to support the inquiries as we did not expect this level of interest," said Uri Gruenbaum, CEO and co-founder of TipRanks. "We have no doubt as our users have been asking about it for the last few years."
TipRanks has been continuously expanding its business partnerships. Last August, the firm entered into a partnership with Admirals, a global retail FX and CFDs broker, to help improve the research capabilities of its traders.
