TIS Appoints Fintech Veteran Chris Calhoun as CEO, Americas

​TIS (Treasury Intelligence Solutions Inc), a global leader in managing corporate payments, recently announced the appointment of Chris Calhoun as CEO, Americas. This new addition indicates the company's commitment to its strategic focus on the US market.

Chris brings more than 25 years of executive management and governance experience in the FinTech space. In his new role, Chris will report to Erik Masing, Global CEO of TIS, and will transition out of his current position as Board Director and join the Executive Team to lead all TIS activities in the US, according to the company's statement on Monday.

Prior to being appointed as CEO, Americas, Chris joined TIS in September, 2020 as Board Member. At the same time, he also serves as Independent Director of Billdog. Before this role, Chris most recently worked at Gain Capital after spending 2 decades with the brokerage. Scivantage utilised his services as Chairman & CEO from 2010 to 2020. In addition, he also spent 3 years at GoodCompany Ventures. Early in his career, Chris held the position in FNX Limited for 8 years.

Commenting on the new appointment, Masing said that Chris’ extensive fintech experience, business development success, and strong leadership background make him an ideal candidate to spearhead TIS' growth efforts in the US.
