Transaction Network Services (TNS) has significantly bolstered its market data and connectivity offerings in Latin America by integrating with six key regional exchanges: Mexico's BMV and MexDer, Argentina's BYMA, Chile's Santiago Stock Exchange, Peru's Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL), and Colombia's Bolsa de Valores de Colombia (BVC).

The initiative is part of TNS's strategy to provide global financial firms with streamlined access to emerging markets. Jeff Mezger, Vice President of Product Management at TNS, highlighted the demand for reliable, simplified connectivity, stating, "Our extensive global coverage and local boots on the ground approach means we can support our customers with faster access to data, while also relieving them of the complexity of managing local infrastructure."

TNS will route access through its private network, enabling firms to avoid in-country deployments. Connectivity to Chile, Peru, and Colombia will be consolidated via the nuam exchange access point in Santiago.

The infrastructure is being rolled out in partnership with Avelacom, which will supply the circuits and on-site presence. "By leveraging Avelacom's deep expertise in network infrastructure and low-latency solutions, clients can execute with speed and confidence across asset classes," said Lorenz Voss, Managing Director of Avelacom.

This build-out extends TNS's Latin American footprint, adding to its existing connection to Brazil's B3, and supports its broader Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) strategy for financial market participants globally.
