Todor Georgiev Departs Traders Trust to Launch Prop Trading Brand Funded7

Todor Georgiev, an executive with extensive experience in the FX and CFDs industry, has left his role as Chief Operations Officer (COO) at CySEC-licensed retail broker Traders Trust. Following his departure, Mr. Georgiev is set to launch a new proprietary trading brand named Funded7.

Todor Georgiev was appointed as COO of Traders Trust in 2023. He joined the firm from rival broker FXGlobe, where he also held the COO position. His tenure at FXGlobe was less than a year before moving to Traders Trust. Earlier in his career, he worked at Tixee and Exness, holding various management and compliance roles.

Todor Georgiev's move positions him as the latest in a series of managers from the FX and CFDs industry who have chosen to launch their own prop trading brands or join existing proprietary trading firms. Recent examples of executives making similar transitions include former BDSwiss CRO Andreas Andreou, who is involved with thePropTrade; ex-CMTrading executive Giorgos Piskopianos, who is associated with PropXP; and James Glyde, previously of Spotware, who is connected with PipFarm.
